Foxton is most commonly associated with the nearby canal locks &  site of a former inclined plane lift.
To the south-east of the parish, is the site of a former WWII airfield, part of which is now occupied by a prison complex known as H.M.P. Gartree.

To dis-engage clock bell hammer, pull & hook down  control cable located on north wall of tower.

A series of steps lead up from the road, via a sloping path to the north porch entrance. 3 further steps to Church door plus 2 shallow steps into the nave.

Limited car parking spaces opposite Churchyard gate.

2nd. Date unknown. Hugh II Watts.

4th. 1632. Hugh II  Watts.
Tenor. 1630. Hugh II Watts.
*According to Thomas North, the 3rd. was dedicated to “St. Stephen Proto-Martyr”.
