Observations.

  • Heavy ring of 6 bells.
  • Rope guides.
  • Sally colours for treble to 5th. are red, white & blue.
    Tenor sally colours :- red, green & white.

Accessibility to Church.

  • Several steps down from car park to Church Lane pathway, then uphill, but not steep, gradient to south porch & door.
  • One shallow step down (or ramp, if in position at doorway) to nave.

No practice night.

The bells are rung mainly for weddings.

The Earlier Bells.

  • The present day ring of 6 bells, are those, recorded in 1878.
  • 3 bells existed at Harlestone by the 13th. century, it is thought that these bells were cast by “de Wymbris of London” although no firm evidence is available.
